This book comprises essays that focus on using children’s, families’ and communities’ strengths to improve outcomes for children.
The book, which was produced by the National Black Child Development Institute with support from the W. K. Kellogg Foundation and from Walmart, includes examples from organizations and data points that indicate how children and families are doing across a range of measures. Topics include improving birth outcomes and promoting family support and engagement.
