A new curriculum aims to empower high school students as advocates and promoters of better health in their communities. Project SHARE, made possible by a grant from the National Library of Medicine, is a collaboration between the University of Maryland Health Science and Human Services Library and Baltimore’s Vivien T. Thomas Medical Arts Academy. The free curriculum includes lesson plans, assignments and experiential learning activities related to understanding health disparities and health and wellness promotion.
